On the coast of the Basque Country (Spain), between two coastal villages lies a landscape that uncovers some of the most impressive episodes in the recent history of the earth.

13 kilometers of cliffs with a formation of rock layers called Flysch which surface is a treasure of more than 60 million years of history. Accompanied by a geologist you will travel to the bowels of the earth to discover, for example, a thin black layer which is the evidence of a large asteroid impact as well as the dinosaurs extintion about 65 Ma.

The Flysch route takes you on foot in a pleasant walk and is completed with a boat trip, leaving the port of Zumaia to the fishing village of Mutriku. We offer different types of boats and sizes. In this route, an old route of whaler fishermen, we can still see cetaceans as common dolphin and pilot whale. Here you see a sample of the last departure with our guests.
