Organizing any type of event with a collaborator like Joshua Edelman is always a privilege which can only happen in Bilbao, Creative City UNESCO.

He is a pianist, composer, producer and educator who we had the privilege to meet thanks to our friends from Fair Saturday. A New Yorker in love with Bilbao and passionate about what he does. A consecrated artist who brings his soul to every project. He is always available for a musical performance during any of our events at the Guggenheim, Euskalduna, Azkuna Zentroa, Torre Iberdrola … or at his own home: Jazz Cultural Theater of Bilbao, a cultural space for teaching, research and diffusion of jazz.

Manhattan-Bilbao Jazz Zubia * (Jazz Basque Country Productions) is his latest autobiographical album. It tells the story of a New York jazz musician, grandson of Jewish emigrants, who sails from New York in 1980 and embarks on a transatlantic journey that will take him over 30 years to immerse himself in jazz throughout various cities and cultures of the world.

Time flies when we talk about the bridges that unite cultures and people. When he starts playing, the time stops.
